Just a curiosity question...
I'm starting to tie my own leaders, mostly for nymphing, with Umpqua's indicator tippet.
Here are my questions. I was planning to either put a tippet ring (3mm size) or a perfection loop at the end of the indicator to join with a fluorocarbon tippet. This would allow me to swap tippet as needed without continually cutting into the indicator.
1. Do you consider one to be better than the other, and why?
2. If I wind up having to cast a nymph rig with it, would one turn over better than the other? Yes, mostly I would use this for tight line nymphing, but just in case...
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
